I have always been a fan of tie dye for long time. I think the tie dye design is classic. By classic I mean it is the design that stays forever and never dies.

The tie dye technique has been used throughout the century.  Tie dyeing became fashionable in the West in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s as part of the hippie style says wikipidia.com.  In the old days people used natural dyes which came from plants such as roots, berries, bark, leaves, and wood.  But nowadays we use synthetic dyes. It’s a lot cheaper and offers a wide range of new colors.

By the way, I like my cotton tie dye maxi dress.  It’s cool enough for strolling on the beach in the hot summer day.

I wore:
Ocean Breezy Maxi (thrifted), Dillard Hat, Bag (thrifted)
