Tribal Motif

For some reason this outfit reminds me of “The Lion King” movie. I don’t know why, maybe the tribal motif on the skirt makes me want to move and dance the African Jungle Dance. I have a passion for learning different cultures. African is one of them. I’ve never been to Africa but at least I can feel the aura a little bit by wearing this skirt.

This skirt is actually a pant. I was confused when at first saw it but fell in love with the wild motif. I tried the pants on but they fit only a little above my knee, couldn’t move up higher :( . Then I remembered this song “Pants on the Ground” by “General” Larry Platt.  The pants must be for skinny girls with really skinny legs/thighs. For a few seconds I hated skinny girls.

But I bought the skirt anyway, being persuaded that I probably could do something with it.
It seemed like someone just sewed a line in the middle of the skirt. I successfully removed the thread between the thigh area. Tada!!! Now I have a cute skirt.

Auwwww… He, ha helelemama Ohi’mbube…

Ohi’mbube…

Ohi’mbube…

In the jungle, the mighty jungle
The lion sleeps tonight
In the jungle, the mighty jungle
The lion sleeps tonight

Oh please don’t let me start dancing ….Ohi’mbube
